Alero Financial is a not-for-profit financial cooperative.

Alero was founded in 1939 in Chicago by 15 employees of Automatic Electric, who wanted to build on an idea to pool their money and lend to one another at lower rates than banks.

Interested in offering Alero's banking solutions to your employees?
Here's how it works:
1. We'll meet to discuss the relationship and learn more how to empower your company as we support your employees through our free financial wellness benefit.
2. If you would like to proceed, we will create a letter of intent (LOI) that expresses your interest in partnering with us. This is a no-strings-attached agreement and not a contract. You are free to move on at any time.
3. Once the LOI is signed, we'll provide you with materials to help you announce this new benefit to new hires and existing team members.
4. We'll check in periodically to assess your evolving needs and schedule visits and virtual activities to engage your team members.

Our financial wellness experts are available to give presentations on-site to your employees about financial health and provide financial education on topics ranging from identity theft, budgeting, credit reports and more.
These on-site presentations are an important benefit to helping your employees become financially stronger.
An Alero Representative will administer these presentations and be available to enroll employees and answer any financial questions. We will provide you with all the materials to announce our financial on-site visit. All we ask is your aid in distributing them and a modest amount of introductory administration such as processing direct deposit/payroll allocation.
